OUR STORY

The founders of NASEEJ are fourth generation weavers. Their great grandfather Saeed Mardini, was a talented textile technician who fled his hometown Mardini (a town located on the outskirts of modern day Turkish Kurdistan) when he was just a teenager during World War I. Initially, he found refuge in Syria where he married and started a family. A few years later, Saeed decided to move once again.
